Dual Showman Amp

Post by vernbass »

I have a 1969 Dual Showman head that I'm thinking of selling. Anyone know best way to find out the value? It's in good condition.

Another good way is to search completed listings on eBay. You have to have an account. Go to advanced search and click 'completed auctions only.'

Only the head in excellent condition
'Blackface" NOS tubes - $650-1100
'Silverface" $450-$800
depending on location and motivation of buyer. I say this because it's the cabinet with the dual JBL D-15. That really make the amp. with the cabinet $800-$2100 depending on condition, tubes, documentation, and location.

Check your local music stores and craigslist and make sure you are not competing with another seller so you can make top dollar.
