It's only $329.00........hard to build it cheaper yourself.

It's only $329.00........hard to build it cheaper yourself.
Isn't a money question about to reuild the same circuit cheaper

I'm interested in the circuit itself to study their solution

is a long time I'm looking to all the circuits that uses a pentode as V2 or V3

this is of more interest, to me, because uses an ef86 and because it is a stand alone preamp

I have been researching the same thing for a combo rebuild.

As posted to me earlier, umm.. Search the forum for Selmer Zodiac, then take a look at the BrownNote layout in Ampmike's thread in the off topic forum. I am going with drive control and a cut for the 86 portion of the circuit.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Sometime ago I discovered that the Selmer Twin 30 and Matchless Clubman 35 use a pentode after triode

also the Tweed Overdrive Special (that is a project find at the el34 forum) do that

I'll look to the BrownNote Layout you reported

Edit can you post a link to the BrownNote layout ? I'm not able to find that thread
