Is a Dumble ODS keyboard amp possible?

Post by dr. who »

I would like to know if it would be possible to make an amp that would take a wider range of frequencies? I play guitar with midi pickup +synth, and have an effects loop in the guitar like Jerry Garcia. Some of the synth patches have low bass, and I have heard that bass is bad for guitar amps. I would like to not have to worry about destroying my amp. Any help? All input welcome.

would the pre-amp out work if connected to a power amp?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The Dumble should produce plenty of highs and lows for your needs with the right speakers, but why would you want a tube amp for keyboards? Just use a good solid PA.
