Bent Chassis Repair?
I am trying to repair a couple of chassis that have been pushed/dented inward and would like to here from successful project repairs. These are the Fender style, one is front and other is rear damaged. I have a couple of methods in mind but curious if someone has a better mouse trap. Thanks !

Aluminum or steel chassis?
If aluminum, I'd be tempted to try C-clamps and some boards and/or thick metal sheets to clamp in back in line.

Yeah there are many ways, just like in auto body repairs.
If the amp has removable face plates, then you can hammer the shit out of them and not worry about it showing once the face plate is on.
That is an exaggerated example but, usually you would use a backer of wood or steel and hammer or clamp to that to straighten a bent area.
I have even used Bondo on a chassis before to fill some dents.

Don't let that smoke out!

If its steel your in with a good chance, try a slapping hammer(not a joke, used for body repair) or clamp the metal between two surfaces, preferebly the most rigid you can find, if its ally then personally i would,nt bother, ally stretch,s whenits bent or dented and will never go back properly.
Good Luck with them

Steel chassis, I will try some type of jig to progressively push or pull over time & line up. Thanks for replies. Anyone with pics?
