Re: Simms watts
guess not.
I was just curious. If you aren't familiar with the Simms Watts brand it was made in the UK in the 70's. the most famous model being the "100". The amps logo is bright orange with white accent with Simms Watts lettering very large and easy to read. Running EL34's and over spec'd partridge? iron. with high headroom before traditional british breakup. They have a small following in the USA in country music and if my memory is correct were used on and off at least on stage by members of pink floyd.
I'll try to pick one up and post a few gut shots.
My impression of the tone is if a Laney Super Group and Hiwatt procreated.

simms watts project
to send this thing in the mail cost a fortune , even more from Norway to USA than other way . so thats no idea , you get things at a better prize over at your place . the transformers are heavy ,
Re: Simms watts
Yet another reason it would be nice if members would include their location in their profile.
Not only will it help other recommend products to you, but avoids a lot of chatter until the other shoe drops and the person says, oh I live at the South Pole.

Better late than never?
Picked up a Simms-Watts 100 from a relative a couple years ago. Wasn't working and they didn't want it anymore.
I opened it up and found the power cord had come loose. Works like a charm now. Loud as all hell.
Looking to sell it, since I don't play, but don't know were to sell it at.
