Haha, like I said, I gotta pay more attention to the insides cuz my builds just aint that pretty. A fella contacted me a few days ago about making an amp to his specs in a toolbox. I tried to steer him towards a more traditional enclosure and I sent him some pics of the same amp I posted in this thread. Last night, he sent me a reply and it read:

"i am not at all attracted to the [5E3/6L6]. hopefully your other chassis' are more appealing to my eye. i would much rather build a box than have one of those..."

Ouch. Back to the toolbox, I guess.

Everybody is different.

But with the toolbox amps, you are filling a niche that really hasn't been exploited much so you might as well make the most of it.
