Re: Stereo amplifier
Yep, I checked the Bottlehead stuff. Nice, but a bit too pricey for this build.
I've found a couple of folks that have been playing iPods into the circuit found at Angela's with good results. I've also a NOS Stancor PT that's perfect for that build so I think I'll start sniffin' around for some outputs.
I know the hifi guys would puke at the thought, but I'm REALLY tempted to try Musical Power Supplies' OT20SE. Pretty hard to beat the prices. I wonder what their frequency response would be like.

I would send the guy an email and see what he reckons. Hopefully get some good news back. You'll only be putting 4 or 5W max through it (triode strapped EL34) so chances are reasonable.

Re: Stereo amplifier
I've been looking at the same thing for a while. Nice small tube amp in the shop to run a CD player, Computer out and my sat radio through. Been using an old Pioneer solid state A/V stereo receiver for a long time......it finally crapped on me so now I have an excuse to build a stereo amp. I know I have plenty of old salvaged crap to cobble something together.
