A 5U4GB would bring the B+ down to around 320 volts. There is plenty of rectifier current - 5V @ 3A, right? That would get you into rocket territory.

I think Tonemerc could be right about it being a custom run. Notice the lower primary winding. It is asterisked to the note at the bottom, "Damper Wdg". Is it maybe an old radiogram PT?
