Could this possibly be just a misplaced solder solder bridge, or something more serious (broken relay?). Thanks for any replies.

Blended channels on Channel Switching Amp
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, and for that matter this whole "amp building modifying thing". I realize I'm being a pain by asking this, but I've recently modified my Peavey C30, and now both channels are blended on the clean channel?
When it is on the dirty channel, the volume increases considerably and there is a massive amount of distortion.

Re: Blended channels on Channel Switching Amp
lets start with what you did, What did you do?, and how it was executed... go back and check your work for bridged solder points, and work through the circuit. one easy way to answer your question is to restore the amp to stock and see if the problem continues. or test the relay.

Re: Blended channels on Channel Switching Amp
Since the post control has no effect on channel 1, and the relay still switches perfectly, I guess then it would have to be a solder bridge in the wrong spot. Thanks for the help.
