Hi Chaps

I seem to be getting noise when i change the brightness switch, its ok in middle position, but get crackling and noise when i switch to the other position. Moving the wire which goes from middle contact on volume pot to contact 2 on the V1 seems to have got rid of some noise. I wondering whether to changed this wire as its the teflon (i think that ceriatone uses) coated wire and i seem to remember somewhere on here that its too rigid and causes problems.

Any advice i would be very grateful.

solid core pvc is the correct wire.

resolder everything around the bright switch and the volume pot.

Make sure the volume pot wire is totally down on the chassis.

I done that and had a fiddle and re-arranged some wires and its sorted.
