Tom, zooming in on the bottom photo, I think the 18-wattish looking amp says "Phat Ass 36", so maybe a 36W Lite IIb variant?Structo wrote:Yes very nice.

Re: Let's See Your Rig!
Thanks guys! I'm a huge fan of the 245 and McCarty Burst is just the coolest finish option outside of private stock IMO. The amp is a home brew 36 watt mongrel I call a Phat Ass 36. This one is the pretty version I built for a friend, I kept the messy prototype for myself. The Clips link in my sig points to various youtube clips.Structo wrote: Yes very nice.

PRS makes nice wood. But don't miss a chance to play the Carvin California Carved Top CT6. Awesome.

My rig of shame
Here's a little bit of my various rigs. I haven't been gigging much lately and
I wish I could say I was building a lot of amps but my tiny domecile doesn't
permit much. That said, I'm looking for a house in S. Oregon and hope to be
moved by June or July.
I'm currently digging my Trussart Steelcaster & Epi Sheraton through a new
Eventide Eclipse/Mesa Preamp/Komutt & Xpress/Tone Tubbies in the Sunn
affair. P-Bo' is a constantly evolving entity subject to my whim-of-the-day.
Excuse my shoddy photographic skills with this digital camera;

It's a seventies cab in the 2 X 12 configuration. It has two Tone Tubbies inselloutrr wrote:is that a reissue sunn model t 4x12? if so interested in selling it?
it. An AlNiCo and a ceramic wHempCones. The cab vinyl and grill cloth are in
flawless condition save for 30+ years of typical aging. Unless you were local
and could take reciept in person I couldn't be talked into selling it. I'm think-
ing $300 unloaded and another $300 loaded.
There is guitarist from a local sludgecore band that says he wants them but he's short some of the fundage.

Re: Let's See Your Rig!
I'm really looking for the reissue model T cab for a full stack
the vintage are very nice cabs but not the same dimensions or build as the fender reissue sunn, which was based on the matamp 4x12 and loaded with G12-75's the low end on these cabs is awesome!
what makes it even more of a kicker they only made one cab for ever head. ( half stack ) I want to be the bastard with a full stack
really though out of 40+ speaker cabs it's hands down one of my favorite.
The tone tubby speakers are great they really add a nice texas rock sound for blues rock when teamed up with a fender circuit. and have a nice middle bite on a marshall smoothing out the high raspy notes when the amp gets dimes.
I have an old traynor 4x12 cab that the orig speakers were under powered 15watts each that came in blown the guy gave it to me for $25 so i loaded it with two red and two green tone tubby speakers. really compliments the traynor and fender heads.
