Doug says that the amp is his personal amp so maybe those heaters are not offered on his commercial amps.

Once the wires are done you could always bend up a small metal cover with tube holes in it and place it over the wires to cover them (like an external wire runway). If fender can do it for caps why not do it for filament wires?
