Internet bud is asking me about this, so I look into it.
And I turn up with a common answer given:
"Bypass DSP by soldering wire from R41 (left side) to R17 (right side). R17 is right behind the treble pot".
Apparently a popular mod but he indicates this recommended method does not work.
I don't know enough about IC's to figure it out.
Schematic is here:

Thanks in advance for your help.
I don't want to steer him down the wrong path.

They have made several versions of cards it would be helpful to know which one the mod was made for and which version he owns.
Compare the two and it'll probably make sense where to jumper his

I'd suggest getting a bigger hammer.
A layout and board photo might help more, it might a very simple trace cut
when you find where it is.

I referred the friend here, rather than passing notes.
It is a very popular mod, maybe he has other issues with the amp, as he said it didn't work.
We'll see.
(I did mention this board has much more knowledge than
I could possibly impart without having the amp on my bench).
You have never failed me yet.
Thanks all, and I DO have some big hammers around.
