Speaker Mounting Thread Size

Post by ChrisM »

Assuming all speakers use the same mounting size holes...

Does anyone know what size bolt and t-nuts I should get for my speakers. If it matters at all (which I don't think it does) they are modern Eminence's.

Thanks...

I used 10-32 bolts and T-nuts. You can use 1/4-20 for heavier speakers, I believe.

Eminence's web site has flange mounting hole diameters listed for each model.

Thanks guys, found the info on Eminence's website and picked up the correct hardware today.

One other questions...
Four bolts enough for each speaker? It's a 100W amp. All my other amps seem to only use 4 bolts.

I'm bad at getting perfect alignment with 10-32, so I use 8-32. Mounting diameters vary all over the place. Eminence is not identical to Celestion.
