This thread was about a new video/audio clip of a Bludotone amp of interest to everyone on this board and some great playing by Scott.

It is unfortunate that in the recent thread regarding the Ceriatone HRM amp it degenerated into something other than a discussion of that topic, for which you were partly responsible. It appears from your posts in that thread you even realized that point. Your comment above serves no purpose other than to inject into this thread the very behavior you so recently criticized.

What a disappointment to find the same thing happening here in the same day. Perhaps you should revisit your previous posts on the subject.

Please....this thread was about the Ceriatone HRM...no more, no less...... Look at who started bashing Nik............ All I asked was it to stop......

Bottom line.......my line was to stop the bashing. The rest is white noise.

Did not really want to get into the discussion of building a dumbleator.....my point as well as others including yourself was the bashing of Nik. It's totally classless and un-called for and should stop.

Well, I guess we now can move forward.

It would be nice if you would!! Apparently you didn't realize you were the only one left behind.

I was lucky enough to play though that amp at the show. It's truly amazing what Brandon has done. It's punchy and squishy at the same time. It was just as impressive with a Tele and a LP.

I LOVE the sound of that amp! Wow! Scott, is that your bluesmaster?

Is the reverb built in or external?

Rob,

I am being honest, the Bludo sounds killer in that video...actually awesome, but the Carol Ann OD will give that amp a run for it's money. That is not a bull comment...sorry you do not like the answer.

As far as Scotty's playing......it kicks butt. Incredible player and wish I had his chops.

It was external if there was reverb. I played it dry but I think Scott brought his rack.

Does Scott roll his tone off on his guitar?

Thanks, Bob. Looks like it was a Bluesmaster, too, from what I found in another thread.

I don't think so. I didn't and it sounded very similar.

what I find very cool about that clip is that the sound going from the un boosted lead tone to the boosted lead, it still sound like the same amp just more of it,this is something that I am finding very frustrating with my 50 watt hrm build that I finished earlier this week .it's either a good un boosted sound or a good boosted sound never both, but they pull it off in spades ,awesome!

For the record, I had a dozen guys over today for an ampfest. The Carol Ann did hold its own. It did not "eat" the Bludos. However, the big disappointment was the 50 watt Ceriatone OTS. It sounded small and compressed.

So Paul is half right. Carol Ann is good.... But Ceriatone, in this case, was played maybe 10 minutes as the mob rule moved it off the stack.

My Bluesmaster does all four tones really well and with smooth transitions. Clean, clean boost, gain, gain boost. Best amp I ever heard for that. It is the same tone, just bigger and gainier as you move through the sounds.

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Bob, we have to hook up soon....
