One more clip...

Post by larsmuller »

Hi there,...

I´ve recorded a new clip. Nothing fancy, no high end recording techniques...just having fun. Guitar is a Heritage les paul like, cab is 1x12 loaded with an old 1265. Pab is not engaged, just the OD...

The amp needed a little time to set in, IMHO the sound is getting better every day!

That sounds terrific, Lars, congratulations. Any specifics about the amp you'd care to share with us?

Cheers,

Nice bite and harmonics! Like the phrasing too. 8)

Sounds bright for a Les Paul guitar, but it works really well.

It´s not quite a les paul...the type is called H170...a double cut, slim body...
Nice guitar, indeed a bit more bite than a LP. Tone pot is lacking too, this could also give a bit more top end...

grtzz and thnx!

Yeah,

I'd be interested to know what mods you did to the D'Lite circuit too

- I'm just about to start a D'Lite in an old combo ( currently a plexi circuit build i did ).

This is designed to be a fast build without all the bells and whistles of my existing HRM 50 watter.

love the clips - really warm dumbly tone. Great chops too !

Really good sounds Lars, I particularly like the lower register notes' 'honk'. They remind me of LC on 'Last Nite', although I suspect RF is more of an influence on your playing.

Did you replace your SM pf and Jensen caps that can be seen in one of your previous posts?

Have you got any updated pics so we can see how it has evolved since it's birth?

Keep up the good work. Paul.
