Has anyone experimented with cathode biasing and lower plate voltages on the non-HRM schematic?
I recently put together a lower voltage unit,about 395v,and cathode biased it.It sounds pretty damn nice,and amy need a few tweaks here and there,but overall it has close to the same headroom and the overdrive is exceptional.It has a pair of 6v6's.
