D'Lite and NKK & bias move

Any advice on NKK swap and bias move. Do I need to clear the paint under the new bias pot location ? On the NKK ohm switch is it advisable to re-drill the small keep hole so that the switch does not rotate ?

If you are going to ground the 10k resistor to a ground lug and not to the back of the bias pot you don't have to clear the paint under it.For the rotary switch in my D'lite chassis i have enlarge the existing keep hole with a small drill bit (3mm) and a small file making it an oval hole.
