It has been around 10 years since I built my #124
Since that time I have gotten away from amp building and have forgotten a lot.
I fired up the 124 and noticed the Jazz/Rock switch is up/down. I was reading the notes on the amp and this is described as having
a middle position, I am wondering If I installed the wrong switch?
Really miss working on amps plan on relearning everything and getting back into it as I really miss it, and have
some nice vintage amps including a 1965 Vox AC10 I just bought a few days ago and want to make sure it is running at peak performance.
PS It is a new world! I uploaded a picture of the inwards of my Vox into ChatGpt and it told analyzed the circuit and told me which caps had been changed
and suggested a few songs it would play through the amp if it was human. Things are getting very scary!

Re: Jazz/Rock switch 124#
The 124 as shown in the photos Gil took had an On-Off-On R/J switch, and I can say that because the PAB slide switch on the back panel has two lugs that have never seen solder. Because of that, "Manual" PAB is accessed via R/J middle position. Switching to "Pedal" on the rear panel slide switch hands the function off to the foot switch, but R/J middle still works. You can do it either or both ways if you wire the rear panel switch like the OD.
