Single 12” speaker for JM Sig build
Open and looking for all 100watt+ speaker suggestions for my JM Sig build. Hit me with your thoughts!
Re: Single 12” speaker for JM Sig build
If you are going for the John Mayer sound, a G12-65 or Gold are pretty common. Or one of each. An EVM 12L does the trick too.
I run 2 G12-65s and love it. Have tried it with 2 WGS green Beret cab and didn't care for it. G12H30 was OK but not my favorite either. I've not tried Golds yet personally.
Also, feel free to just use 1 thread for all of your questions related to 1 amp. You may get better responses that way and it will be easier for you (and others) to refer back to it in the future. Not trying to be rude, just a suggestion.

A great option also is the Scumback M75 65LD. It's a great speaker in and ODS styled amp.

I'm a big fan of the Eminence EM12N https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... nt-speaker (EVM12L characteristics) for all things Dumble/Two-Rock/etc. 200w speaker and 6.6lbs
They sound fantastic with my SSS #002 clone.
