My Dumble Deluxe

Post by sergio »

Here some pics of my new little amp, a Dumble Deluxe with tremolo.
Anyone has built something like that, with tremolo?

A Dumble Deluxe?!.
(spent some time scratching my head for that doesn't look like an Ultra-Phonix Deluxe at all)

... of course: a Tweedle Dee Deluxe!

With tremolo? Great, I'm looking forward to see a schematic of it. Does that work like the one of the Fender "pawnshop series" Excelsior?

Congrats on your build, tight and clean!
Any audio clip to share?

Fred.

Yes, it's a tweedle dee, I made it in a head and added tremolo. Surely the aesthetic is different from the original one, but I wanted to create something different.
At the moment I don't have any audio clips.

Wow, that’s some nice work you did. Love how clean it looks. Your solder leads look straight as a ruler haha.

Thanks, because I used solid core wires.

Hi Sergio,

Very nice work. Did you use 1M or the recently updated 10M value for your cathodyne grid leak? Do you notice much effect in dialing the trimmer?
