Good afternoon from the snowy Northeast.
I was hoping for some input from you folks regarding the pi voltage. Im struggling with higher voltage on the non feedback side vs the non fb side. Ive been able to get the tube fairly well balanced 287v on input side and 294 on output side. The problem is Im using 120k on the input side and 82k on the out. The amp sounds sterile, like a pull master volume twin reverb for lack of a better way to describe. Any thoughts?
Thank you all
Shawn

Re: 102 build voltage issue
1. Try swapping in a another tube and see if the voltages move
2. Ensure your resistors are within 10% of their values by measuring them.
3. Check for leaking caps by lifting one end of the input; AC shunt; and coupling caps
