I can't find any information about this early combo. Nothing in the archive. No "By Dumble" logo.
Any ideas? Thanks

Does sound very good though!

If u listen to the Jude Gold "No guitar is safe" podcast he says it's Jackson Browns Ods, it appears to just be a run of the mill second gen ods.

Lol I'd be happy with any run of the mill 2nd gen.
I can't find any further info on that amp. I guess a message to Owen next, then.

I just had a lovely long chat with Owen and he told me it is Jackson Browne's #10 he has that he can use.
What a great guy, he sent me a pic of the s/n too!

That amp sounds amazing.
How is he getting that much gain with the volume on 2?

I tried the same with my 2Gen hybrid and could get the same gain.

... With PAB and FET on and drive and input way past 1 o'clock and extra drive on the Dlator.
Maybe they are very hot pickups in his guitar?

Maybe as Jackson is/was so close with HAD over the years he modded it- Rock City, Bluesmaster PI, El Tostado etc etc? Who knows? We are never gonna see inside it, that's for sure.

A different pot taper other than the commonly found 9-10% today. This circuit has plenty of gain if you tweak the voltage divider OD entrance network.

Yeah of course, it could be taper too, forgot about that element! Pots make so much difference.
As Marcus is finding out!

As an experiment, I just bypassed the loop - so pure amp, just like in the video. I tried to set it similar, too.
No shortage of gain and feedback with a Tele with broadcaster type bridge pickup. OD on. No PAB or FET.
Vol - just past 2
Treble - 1.5
Mid- 6.5
Bass - 10
Drive - 5.5
Level - 2
Master- 5

I think the straight amp, no loop, dlator or fx, which I never use, has some balls for sure!
