oval size hole

Hi, what is the right size for the oval hole in the back for a 2x12 cabinet?the idea was copying the black Robben 's cabinet used in the late 80's.What is the kind of wood used for the cabinet?THANKS

I do not know the dims for the oval hole... :roll:
