Best way to connect LEDs

Anyone have a good way to connect LEDs rather than solder and heat shrink the wires? There must be a better way.

To me that is the best way to go about it, but Dumble (in the amps I've seen with LEDs, at least), clipped the LED leads short and staggered, and just soldered the wires to the leads without using shrink tubing.
