Yeah, that's right! Confused the heck out of me.
Keep in mind that Music Ground was shut down for selling counterfeit goods (among other things). Are you certain that this amp is the real deal?
I'm aware of Music Ground's shenanigans but judging from these pics, there is no doubt in my mind that it was made by Dumble. This is his "build print". I agree with Tony that the only thing not original could be some of the PS filter caps. Installed by Dumble or not, who knows?
I played an amp that was prob pretty close in SN to this one but it lacked PAB. It certainly did not need it though.... it sounded glorious in OD mode. And the cleans were great too. It had a 70's style relay sticking out of the chassis. 50W black chassis.
Based on my observations of that amp and some others, I'm inclined to say that this one discussed here is prob closer to sn90 -100 but certainly after sn80's.
FWIW...If you wanted to replace the filter caps of such a Dumble with caps closer to the originals you would be best suited to use the F&T's
F+T use the similar foil material with the same surface structure e. g. as the older style yellow Atom Sprague (the blue ATOM Spragues are completely different).
