part names for input jacks

Post by jackson649 »

I'm trying to build up a parts list and am having problems with what kind of input jack am i suppose to use. For a dumble amp, could someone tell me which jacks I should use for the following jacks.

Input
Fets input

Speaker output jacks (main and ext.)
effects loop

Thanks

Input - Closed tip (Switchcraft 12A)
Fets input - Stereo closed tip, closed ring (Switchcraft 14B)
Speaker output jacks:
main - Closed tip (Switchcraft 12A)
ext. - Open tip (Switchcraft 11)
effects loop:
Preamp out - Open tip (Switchcraft 11)
Power amp in - Closed tip (Switchcraft 12A)

The Mouser Number is 502-xx (where xx is the jack type). IOW, a 12A would be 502-12A. If you use Cliff jacks, you're on your own.

Don't think so on te FET input, 14B would be the wrong case, the wrong number of lugs and the wrong function on the jack, IMHO.
