Hey thanks... I'd have to say that would never have occurred to me... but it makes sense. I usually wire the heaters first because for some reason I really don't enjoy it much... so my first inclination is to get the wires all tucked away tidy and neat...

I looked at the layout drawings and what I saw didn't include heater wiring... If I were a better student I would have gone to the pictures...

Thanks again, I am greatly appreciative and I'd really like to avoid major work in re-voicing my own unique configuration or worse yet trouble shooting an avoidable self inflicted blunder in lead dress, etc...

Well it has been mighty slow in coming, but at 3:30 A.M. this morning, I heard my first first ODS sounds... thank goodness for a Holiday today!!

First thanks to BrownNote and Normster... I've really followed their lead on this build. Also thanks to the usual contributors on the forum... Can't say enuff thanks!

I've still got a few things to do, but I'm pleased overall to be moving on to the tweaking and tuning stage.

I'll be posting info on some similar chassis' and face-plates I have for sale, including a hand full of tubes up type design if anybody wants to do that.

I've been teaching my son how to build and he is just nicely started on his ODS build. Also, my good friend Dr. Pastor Bob has just finished up the wiring on his own ODS build and is ready to start tweaking it now... see his post at https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?p=42441#42441

I'll have some tweak questions after I rest up a bit... Also, some more pictures, and maybe even some sound clips...
