Look good Mark! If you are getting any noise in the amp I found that the Two Rock positioning of the rectifier is problematic considering it is right behind the gain pot with a connection to V1!

I spent hours tracking down that 60 cycle hum...I ended up moving the rectifier and bias to the side, Dumble style, and the amps are dead quiet.

Sweet! How's it sounding?
So you have a 47uf rather than 22uf for the screen filter. Your reverb driver is fed from a parallel 10k/22uf node off the pi node rather than just the 10k from the screen node? I'm color blind and hav a real hard time reading the bands... What values did you use in the droppin string?

Taylor not getting any noise just adjusting values here and there and removing the 500pf cap that is with the 220k grid before V1b.

I added one more filter cap but otherwise the dropping string values at this time are what is shown on the original schematic. 10k, 22k, 2k2.

Reverb is feed after 10k to a 2k2 resistor with the 20uf filter.

The amp sounds good but slightly trebly for my taste so working on that. The reverb sounds good but I need to see what pan I'm going to use in a head cabinet.

Tried out the effects loop with a Boss DD3 so I know that is working.:)

I'm going over the updated schematic Aaron provided which changed the PS so I may need to change some things but only of voltages don't check out.

Used a center off DPDT switch so standby is down, center power off, up power on. I didn't know what Two Rock was doing with that switch on the back panel at first. :)

I don't care for the bright switch so far from the gain pot. I was thinking a guy could either put a switch above the gain pot or use p/p pot to keep the cosmetic look the same. Use the bright switch spot for PAB.

Ah ha! I see that on the modified schematic you posted. I was looking at the one Aaron posted on page 3 that had 2k2/22k/2k2 and 10k with no cap off the screen node to the reverb driver.

So that second rectifier and 47uf in the 2rock pics is on a switch with the other rectifier and is a low/high voltage thing?... Is that on the production models or only prototypes?

I believe that TR went through a time when the hi/low voltage was based on different transformer winding (thus the separate bias adjusts for each setting). After a while, they switched to a fixed bias/cathode bias switch to handle high/low (at least on the 50W amps). I'm not sure why they didn't just go with disconnecting two tubes on the 100 watters.

This 2Rok circuit is mighty fine sounding and strat friendly.

Loaded the amp into a Amplified Nation head cab I had sitting around for temporary home and played through Two Rock style 212 cab loaded with EVM 12L's love it. :) Using my Super Reverb tank right now but need to decide which tank I want to use permanently.

Soon the local guitar players taste test will began, tough group.

Thanks Tom.

You guys put me to shame on your build quality.

Blank face plate for now and stuck into a cab so I can take it to my buddies tomorrow. I'll decide later on the cab and plates or silver sharpie on black would work too. It's got a purple light.

Woah I built that cab a long time ago! Maybe 2011? I'm shocked you can fit the tank in there with the amp. My Mayer clones are in 11" cabinets!

Everything sounds better in suede

I'm not using this cab for the 2Roc amp it is not tall enough as you said. My tank is lying on a head cab next to this one.

I'll probably build a combo cab for it, something ugly to go with this plain Jane looking amp. :) I haven't decided if a I really need a new faceplate. I could label this one and be done.

Looks good Mark! You said before that it was bright. Did you tweak it to tame the brightness or just go with it?

mauiboy81 thanks.

The problem was my wiring of the bass pot and the amp no longer has excessive treble.

You know what happens when you have to think for yourself following a schematic rather then follow a wonderful layout.

I love this amp but I may have said that before about other amps but this time I really mean it.

I took the small reverb tank out of my Reverb Rocket head and stuck that in the bottom of this buck skin cab. I like the long tank better but this works for now so I can take it around town for demo's.
