Steve's at Apex are the correct 3/8 long pots good for use with thick faceplates.

Also Mojotone has the 3/8 CTS specailly made for them and they also have custom Alpha 3/8 to match their CTS 3/8 version.

Apex Bourns, Mojo's CTS and Mojo's Alpha are all 3/8 thread for faceplates and are all the same size in comparison.

If you need proof I can upload a photo of all three side by side.

jhaas....

The part number is PDB24 but have been modified to match a
guitar amp manufacturer specs.
The new ones I ordered last week are PDA24's also a little modified
to go along with his specs.
I tied my order along with his so we could get a good price.

The for the info, M Fowler. Yeah, like Steve said, the pots he has now are the more typical 1/2" bushing length, which is fine for face plates 1/16" or less.

Funny, I called Mojo, and the guy on the other end could not figure out how long the bushing was, even with it in his hand! He had a ruler too! I called again to get another guy, and same thing. Not kidding  I wasn't about to order a grip of pots not know how long the bushing actually was, but it's good to know that the Mojo branded pots have 3/8" long threads.

Do you happen to know the tapers of those? I really do love the 10%. I'd call Mojo, but chances are they'd have no idea what I'm talking about!!

Hey, thanks a lot for the picture, M! While I'm at it, do you know of any jacks besides Switchcraps, that have a 3/8" long bushing? (I think you may have actually mentioned this in another thread I cannot find). Thanks again.

I only use switchcraft long and short thread versions and cliff jacks.

If you have a face plate and want to use Cliff jack remove one washer and it will work fine.
