What do you guys think about the older quadraverb and the reverbamate. I run them through my dlator and they sound petty darn good.

Nice sweet clean tones... Great work ..Thought I heard some D-style OD tones on a few spots.. Does it have the OD channel.. I have not heard it through a nice Loop just in the front end.. I need to try it ...Things do work and feel better in a loop.. and used in moderation I can handle it ...I think my biggest issue with long delay tanks is it just doesn't sound like your in a room or a hall.. Sounds like you are in a sewer.. It's just me..We built an amp for Local player Tom Principato.. Basicially our Lindy Fralin Model w/ built in 3 Knob Reverb like the stand alone external dohickies (highly technical term do not use)
having the dwell mix and tone was a big help.. That was kind of cool.. since the reverb used a cathode follower changed the feel and voice.. the amp compressed up a little before it broke up..gave it a softer edge.
This is a great mod to do on a normal channel of a Fender combo if you dont mind drilling out a tube slot and adding the 6k6..octal..

Re: Kleinulator owners
You've seen the schematic, this amp is D-style overdrive all the time (i.e. there is no relays or clean preamp volume or master volume, it's always the OD channel and only drive and level for loudness control) That's quite a compliment (and a testament to HAD's brilliant design) when hearing the OD channel made you say "Nice sweet clean tones".talbany wrote:Heistl

Really.. Yeah going back and listening again I can hear it now...I don't remember you posting that amp.. One of the most appealing qualities about these amps is the interaction.. Roll off the volume a bit hit it with a lighter touch.. amp cleans up and retains that chime.. I messed around with having both clean and OD channels going at the same time and summing them in at the phase inverter.. This way you can really balance out both channel's.. Sort of the inspiriation for our Tone Blender Model.
Still Heistl nice job...
