No, but 6.3 is handy for other things too, and was easier for the manufacturer than 12 for some reason. 5 works just fine, make sure you have enough filtering!Guitarman18 wrote:Funk wrote:

Funk, do you feel that having 6.3v gives you an advantage over 5v? Less chance of voltage dropping too low?
