I found the problem, finally. I knew there was a ring shunt on the 14B jack when I traced how the FET worked on the schematic. I didn't know there was also a tip shunt, too. Oopsies. After checking everything on the FET board and replacing the FET without any change, I eventually got to jumpering inputs and then continuity checks on the jack and caught it. Lots of FET created db's now.
I like the distorted signal from the FET and the OD simultaneously. There's a surprising (to me) amount of distortion on tap.

Mounted the chassis in the Tube Town cab. Cab is just a tad oversize. They make a nice cab, for sure.
