I'd like to get a hold of some 30% 1megA pots some day. I'm always looking for them, no luck yet.

Angela has a J taper 1M CTS pot.

According to http://www.ctscorp.com/components/Datasheets/450g.pdf J taper is 30%.

Might be worth a try.

I didn't know about these either. Just ordered 4, thanks! The 1M audio for volume is the only pot in my ODS clones that I'm not entirely happy with the taper on with the 10% CTS or Alphas.

just bought three for my own amps. I only need one per amp, since I have built-in D-lators with fixed resistor Master-sub.

I finally got some J tapers, the small IM ones that "snap in" to a Twin Reissue or something - put them in the 2ndGenHybrid:

"Fender 1 Meg Solid Shaft J Panel Mount Pot For
Amplifiers 0059712000"
Used for Input Volume and OD Level, waiting for one more for the Master

and a 250K CTS from Parts Parts in the USA
"Fender Pot 250K J Taper Solid, 0059713000"
Used for the Mid pot

Unfortunately I made a couple of other changes at the same time so I am not sure of the differences but I am getting much more action before 12:00
and it is pretty well set up with everything at or around noon.
Sounding really good so I am quite happy!

I'm quite happy also with changing to the J type CTS 1meg pots on Vol and Master.
