Hi, Mark.
I'd like one black powder coated chassis and another silverfaced, if you would ship to Brazil.
Please, let me know.

Chassis Hole Guide
I visited the metal shop yesterday and everything looks on-track for the next batch of chassis. We are currently sold out of both the black and silver right now. I'll post again when we have chassis to ship.
I talked to the shop about the stainless-steel galling and it is a known issue due to the hardness of the material, but I'm not sure what would be a better solution. SS PEMnuts are traditionally used in aluminum because they don't get affected by the subsequent finishing steps like iridite corrosion protection (which would discolour other materials). And we like the looks of the SS screws (although perhaps a nice black machine screw would look ok too)! Brian & I have been starting the screws by hand to avoid galling.
Finally, a number of people have asked about chassis mounting hole dimensions, etc. and so I thought I'd share the "Hole Guide" Brian prepared... it is a useful document because it also indicates the use for each hole including proper ground points which isn't well documented elsewhere.
Hope this helps, good-luck with the winter projects, and I hope to see a lot more builds posted!

Re: Another round of chassis
Have you thought about using a 10-24 (vs 10-32) Pem Nut? Coarse threaded fasteners are less prone to galling, cross threading, etc.. I've used them in the past with favorable results.
