it has the 124 but the old layout and I think that's where I got the wrong one
Thanks so much though for all the outstanding docs and files, leave it to me to go to the wrong place

Yes the sticky posts with the ODS layouts in Dumble files are mine. All the layouts on page 1 of each generation have been updated and should be correct. If you go further back in the thread (Where you got yours) you might run into an earlier revision someone may have posted that may not be up to date. I cannot control what others post. I know the site is disorganized and can be confusing but we just deal with it
Anyway sorry! you got an earlier version by mistake and glad you finally figured it out and hope the layout was of some help!
Let me know if you have any more questions
Tony
Thanks that was fast! I've been trying to update things to make them less confusing, but I won't go edit other's OP's unless they ask me to, so thus why I asked if you could. Much appreciated!
Well, unless i'm having some kind of glitch, that layout from that thread I posted still has an incorrect layout with no direct black dotted lines under the board like the one I have. See my link above.
Ahh!!. So you were looking at the low plate classic layout?..I thought you were looking at the 124 collection/Skyliner thread?..This one that has the dots https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5719
The classic was done after the skyliner so it is a newer layout.who knows how the dots left the board
Anyway here you go dotted lines!..Glad we got that figured out
Thanks again, for that and for an outstanding setup! I also ended up crossing the streams and looking at the schematic for the high plate, and ordering from that, and then building based on the low plate so I ended up missing quite a few things, and having extra's lol.

You got it!.Yeah 124 started out as a low plate classic and now AFAWK exists as a Skyliner so when I see a thread labelled 124 I assume it's the Skyliner. The terminology can get confusing.
124 now is actually called a 4th generation (transition) low plate skyliner

oh man, that was me being dumb, I assumed (made an ass outta me and me) that the pinout on the wrapper was top down, and basically put the FET in backwards. I finally figured out that by doing a resistance check to ground from the case which should have been continuity and I got 8.2k... was like 'doh'. redid it to match the right pinout and it worked first try
I also had a problem where I initially miswired the output jacks but got that sorted pretty quickly. The first output jack was right, but then I accidentally connected the tip of the second to ground
I did and it seemed a bit off, but the bias doc waa confusing to me because the layout was different than the one in the#124 build. I do have good sound out of it, but an odd noise happens when I first plug into the feet Jack
Sweet video, Phil! Glad to see how it all came together!
Nice Telecaster too! I 'm actually thinking of picking one up myself. Never been big on the Tele neck pickup, so I may wire it like an Esquire to just use the bridge.
Thanks! Yeah I got it for a great deal from a coworker that needed to give it to someone that would play it I payed very little for it, it's an 09 model, us made. Love the way it plays. I had an ibanez tele copy when I was younger that I loved but someone I trusted basically hosed me over on it like 15 years ago. At any rate, I'm pretty happy to have it now!
