Which Holy grail model are we talking here.

The cheapest one they make - single amount knob and a spring, hall, flerb selector switch.

And it sounds great too. Its hard to tell the difference between a holy grail and spring rev, when used in a live setting.

Alternative to the Holy Grail, at around the same price point around, is the new T-REX tonebug reverb, which can imitate a 'Fender 63' reverb' standlaone unit pretty convinsingly.

Only true in a loop - the H.G sucks (French for "blows") in front of an amp

Sure - limit the amount of pedals in front of an amp. They tend suck tone and dynamics, and defeat the purpose of building a killer amp.

IMO a Dumble style amp, can be feed directly or with a minimal amount of 'true bypass' pedals - tuner, wah and compressor in front of the amp and have chorus, delay and reverb in the loop.

You can thank Henry for that. Gosh, He makes a mean amp!!

I just set up a cream dream rig today.

The PRS mira straight into the Redplate, out of the amp into a Lexicon PCM 91 set for the baddest ass reverb I've ever heard alond with a little bit of delay. One side back into the Redplate and the stereo out into the Carr. The pro reverb and super reverb also sounded excellent with the redplate's front end and the lexicon.

I swear that could be the last rig I would ever want. The PCM is a friends and the redplate is my nephews  . For me, I don't think any amount of money would get a tone that suits me better.

I am trying to sell my pro reverb and my fx that are worth money to get a Custom Henry build but my camera wont sync with my computer . I'm going to have to borrow a camera to list them.

I forgot to post this clean clip with and without the mid boost.

I think this is the nicest clean tone I've had too.

The room is buzzy as hell. After I play the country lick I kick in the mid boost but never add the OD channel.

I cannot imagine a better clean sound than that! Henry - I just have to know - what plate/cathode values are you using and what's your plate voltage? I am guessing 100k plates. It sounds so sweet!

Side - That Mira is one versatile instrument. (edit: oops just realized that was the Strat - no wonder I thought the Mira was so versatile after hearing the other clips!)

Just recorded this with the handheld room mic.Not great recording quality but you get the idea.

This one is buzzy because of stuff rattling around the room but it show how well the amp goes into feedback:

First that clean tone, now this! Henry, your'e killin' me! That is some violin tone there... Nice playing too, side!
Someday Henry is going to be this crabby dude complaining cause everyone is cloning his amps...
Is that one or two speakers and what model? (I would ask more about the circuitry, but don't want to be too nosey)

Does the amp have a built in Dumbelator/ equivalent or is the preamp running directly into the pedal?

Thanks!!! This one is a head unit. Its very small but feature packed. I'd say its about half the size of a regular head.

I'm using the speakers in my pre reverb which are an emi RW&B and weber G1265.

What sucks a$$ is this amp isn't mine. Its my little nephews. I've been selling stuff to get my own redplate build but I have been hit with so damn many obstacle's this month or so it gets further pushed back.

Im to the point that I just want Henry to build me this exact same amp. im in love with it.

If anyone know someone looking for a nice pro reverb and a collection of pedals let me know so I can put $$$ down for my own amp!!!!
