I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to setup the feedback loop on CL2 on a switch that would let me get 22M, 44M or off. I have some SPDT on-off-on switches as well as some DPDT on-off-on switches. also, i'm wondering how that would be wired up. I admit that im not the best at figuring out switching.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: CL2 feedback switch question...
I've never tried switching this, but I like the .047/22M feedback loop myself. I like the little bit of compression and fatness it gives to the clean tone.
Wire a .047uF cap to pin 6, the other end to the center of a DPST Center off switch. Connect a 22M resistor from one side of the switch and the other end to pin 7, then connect another 22M between the 2 outter switch connections.
Switch in the center/off posistion will have no feedback. One of the On positions will have 22M feedback, the other will have 44M feedback. I'd draw it but I'm away from home and I don't have a drawing program on this laptop.

Re: CL2 feedback switch question...
The addition of the switch is a nice thing.
If you are only doing clean, for me I like the switch off that way I FEEL the dynaimcs of the amps cleans. For OD I like the 44M somedays and other days I like the 22M.
All of my amps have been wired that way for the past 3 years.
Bottom line, it is a worthwhile addition to anyones clone.

FWIW
I just wired mine in switchable- nothing, or 22M .
Gary - I prefer the 22M on OD sounds as well - a "tidier" lead sound with less spurious (spiky ) artefacts. On the cleans it seems to kill something about the dynamcs too much for me.
Doesnt hurt to add it and gives you the extra functionality.

+1. That is exactly my observation.pedro wrote:FWIW
