Does the customer pick all the different colored knobs and face plates or is that you doing that? Some amps have a rainbow of colored knobs and different styled knobs.

Totally up to the player. "Custom" to the extreme.

Isn't everything? :o Seriously it is and it mostly isn't, it does have mid boost, PAB, Dumbleator loop, and a non-HRM overdrive section (modified) that puts it in the Dumble camp but the preamp is quite a departure, as is the PI section.
It doesn't seem like you can get here with a Dumble preamp, not even the Bluesmaster:

Those both sound pretty much like blackface Fenders
No insult at all intended, they sound fabulous.

Maybe it was the one you built for Garth Webber that had a definite ODS vibe.

They do until you put a Blackface next to them - they sound like the Blackface Fender inside your head. Side by side they don't have the shrill highs and woofy lows of a Fender.

Garth's is the same preamp and poweramp, he just runs it different.

I've owned so many amps it's embarassing  Even three different popular Dumble style amps and this one get's the prize. I was impressed with the Garth Webber tracks as well and this amp goes there.

Yea, this amp definately has a Fender sound, but is not harsh and the bottom is tighter. I'd been playing a 66 Deluxe Reverb til I got this and that amp was always too clangy. It did sound good and it sounded good cranked with a paul, but you could never quite be happy with the top end no matter what you did.
