Is the terminal strip on the jack side of the amp just for the FET input? I'm talking about the strip with one 20uf 500v sprague atom cap and a 2k2 resistor. Those caps are expensive, and I'd rather not get an extra one if I can help it.
Is there any change I should make when taking out the FET input? or can I just remove that part of the circuit?
Thanks a lot!

Re: simple question
One more thing, what type of 100v .1uf cap is used on the manual PAB and OD switches and in the footswitch?

Re: simple question
On most of the amps with that cap it's for the V1 stage. The ODS amps have 5 stages, Plates, screens, PI, OD stage and clean stage. So, yes, you need the cap. If you're not going to do the FET circuit most ad a 150k dropping resistor at the end of the string to pull down the voltage, simulating the effect of the FET on the rest of the circuit.

Re: simple question
ok, thanks! I just looked at the schematic and that seems really obvious now.
do I use any kind of special cap on those PAB/OD switches? in the pictures they look green, and I haven't seen anything like that. does it matter?
