Did anybody notice any irregularities in the PI?

(The OP has corrected it since posting the pic)

Interesting.. I might try that. Where do you end up grounding the shielding? Near the tube?

I've seen the GTO mentioned on the BN site.

What does it signify?

How about telling us about your amp and what all mods it has?

Ok, it has the 250k bass pot, three way brite switch, jazz rock switch, mid scoop switch. On the back we have a PAB switch, OD switch and a mid boost switch. I also tried the bluesmaster PI and it sounded great so I had to see how it would sound with the standard PI but the BM sounds 100 times better IMO so I switched it back.

What values did you end up liking the best?

Plate resistors, tail, etc?

Did you notice anymore clean headroom with the lower values?

The BM PI sounds the best for clean.

[quote="leleduke"]This thing rocks. Its based on the brownnote GTO with the bluesmaster PI.

Can anyone tell me what the standard resistors are except for the RN65's.

Are they metal film or Carbon Film?
