Ghosting when cranked

Post by mlp-mx6 »

Anyone else ever solve (or try to solve) this?

I have 50uF on the plates, 50uF on the screens, 40uf on the PI, 20 on OD1/2, 20 on CL1/2.

Is it usually a filtering issue, or a grounding issue, or what? Or IS there a "usually"?

Grrrr...

I have experienced it and on one amp I had to raise the main caps from 50uf net to 90uf. That took care of the ghost......

I did run into another amp that did it no matter what I tried. Maybe it was power supply related??? Maybe try clipping in a different supply.
