HEADS UP DUMBLE ON EBAY
ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS?
DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE REAL THING?
IT LOOKS LIKE A STEAL NEXT TO GREGOR HILDEN'S
http://cgi.ebay.com/Dumble-Winterland-0 ... .m63.l1177
HIS FEEDBACK LOOKS A LITTLE SHAKY

Musicground have not taken their own pictures of this amp. They have either been lifted directly from my website or the original source, which I don't recall. I think I've had those pictures up for at least a couple of years.

Hardly a steal. That's not 400-W (on a cold day in hell downhill in a hurricane. It's a single channel bass amp with Dynaco iron.

Re: HEADS UP DUMBLE ON EBAY
Dumble measured that amp to put out 220 with the KT88 that it had originally
but it put out a lot less with the 6550s that are in there now as I remember, anyway still very loud,
it is a cool piece of history

I don't disagree, with the Dyna Iron and that driver, it surely kicks booty.
BUT 400-watts, it ain't...That amps been up a few times before. It didn't sell through numerous previous listings.

Re: HEADS UP DUMBLE ON EBAY
It would an interesting piece for a collector, it is a piece of Dumble history. Might make a nice bass amp.
Hell I bid on that old Dumble PA that was on Ebay a year or so ago. Why, because I was part owner of that PA in 1971 (we paid $350.00 back then) and it had a lot of found memories attached to it. But those memories weren't worth the $5500.00 John Mayer ponied up for the system.

Re: HEADS UP DUMBLE ON EBAY
I totally get that ODS, SSS, Dumblelands, etc are worth a ton, but why are amps that don't necessarily sound that fantastic worth so much?

Anyway, given the current market situation. I expect you will see prices start to drop as people (like me) watch their nest eggs evaporate. And luxury items go to the bottom of the want list.
