Dumble Faceplate

Post by jos3tronics »

Hello Everybody.

This forums are a Excelent Idea for all the Dumble and Trainwreck Freaks (like me).

Actually I'm modifying a dumble clone and i create a new faceplates in Corel Draw to add that real Dumble look.

Question: there's anybody that can create those faceplates? I'm been contact several guys that makes Fender faceplates and they don't want to do it, probably are scare to do it.

any help with this question?

Thanks

It depends on how you want to do it. If you search "faceplate AND kinkos" you'll see an option a few others have used. That's what I'm going to try for my build. I'm not really into the look-alike thing but good luck in your quest for faceplates. I think BNP lasers would do it although you'd have to ignore their terms of service.

Is a laser shop something you find locally? I've used Amplates dot com and been happy though it's kinda expensive. I'm all for taking up a collection to get Lonely Raven his own laser machine. Let's see, $2k divided by 3000 members is......not much. I wonder, am I off by a zero? $20K. <edit: yeah, off by a zero, $20K/300 actual builders is $67 bucks.>
