What brand of pots do you guys use? I got some Clarostat from www.westlabs.com and they are great, but very expencive...

I use Alpha 24mm from Mouser.

real Dumbles seem to use Alpha and CTS, I've used Alpha's in all of mine and I have no complaints, can't say the same in my TW Rocket, that amp needs 30% taper so I'm going to use westlabs.
