I own one that I bought when they were blowing them out.
While a cool little guitar it is far from my main player.
New pickguard and pickups. Yes, $79 blowout guitar. Little '59 in neck, Bill Lawrence in bridge. Doesn't stay in tune - bridge is crap. It is really my bench guitar, but it is always at the ready. My right hand is so sore that I don't like even opening my guitar cases. Grabbing a handle is the worst motion for my right hand so, 8 or more better playing and sounding guitars sit in their cases. I own around 14 electrics, but this one was out in the studio prior to my injury - so there they sit.

Great with thicker sounding axes. Gibsons and the like. A little thin with Fenders and singles. This '51 is a fairly thin sounding guitar. Made from pressed cathair & toenails, I think.

Great clip.... you are telling me you did this on a $79 guitar? Wow, great stuff at twice the price!

What backing track have you got?

Thanks Mark and RJ Guitars. The clip is a hair out of tune, but that is par for the course with that guitar. The backing track is here: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... p?t=338182

Do a search there on "althrax". That dude is posting about 5 tracks a week and they are all very fun to jam over.
