I saw that too. For a time Andy owned the domain but no clue if/when he sold it. To each their own I guess.

I feel mixed about it all. On one hand, it would be cool to see the brand thrive. On the other hand, it's really cheapening the legacy by releasing more products. I guess it's no different than Fender staying alive after Leo died, but the difference is the secrecy of the way Dumble operated.

Just release his note books and schematics if they even exist. THAT would be legendary. Who would even build these amps? Two Rock technicians? 😅

This move feels like when politicians release a book after they retire...

I have mixed feelings too...

It's been discussed before and this is probably more being done out of legal necessity to defend the intellectual property rights of HAD's heirs and in particular to prevent other brands from slapping the Dumble name on goods.

In name or not, there will never be any Dumble amps that were not created by the man himself. The whole process was too bespoke to ever duplicate. Unlike Leo and his assembly line mass production strategy, it all started and stopped with the big guy. These will never have high market value much like the new "Trainwrecks" don't either.

I dunno, just my 2 cents.

It would be fantastic if they released a compilation of his notes, drawings, etc. in book form. Maybe that would be giving away the "magic" though. :?

Totally against HADs wishes and Drew and Matt both know that. HAD wanted the Dumble brand to die with him. This cheapens the magic that is Dumble....

Not to offend anyone, but there are people here who are better at building these clones than Two Rock. Guaranteed!

I guess it's been debunked that they will be building anything at scale.

Side note, Guitar World really prioritizes click bait headlines and shit journalism, huh? They just watch YouTube videos and report on the videos without digging deeper to verify the source.

Yes I felt the same way when I read the article. I cant believe they would print such a story without fact checking.

The original news that their were going to be new Dumble amps was all over the Dumble Clones Facebook group as well and then it got debunked like it has here.
