Haha! yup!

Are those plate load resistors new production Koa Speer 1/2w that I see Two Rock and Taylor use? Any thoughts? I want to build my next JMSig with all of them to see what happens.

Hi Ryan, those Koa's (CF1/2) are nothing special if you ask me. I think those are what Taylor uses too. Run of the mill good resistors, they do their job. The amps I have them in have a nice open sounding mid range. But there could be a lot more factors at play of course, never did a fair and good comparison. Then again, it's cheap to test if you like them.

Hi Rootz,

I am very intrigued by the project of the SSS # 005 that you call DON, I would like to start making it in a standard chassis like that of the String Singer Special I made.

Obviously I will need a chassis and boards for this type of build that I want to do with 4x6V6, I am thrilled with this setup that I used for the first time on the latest build, a 2nd Gen. Hybrid with the help of the excellent Erwin. :D

You have the possibility to share some demos of your DON with the OD session. I will send you a PM for boards and chassis.

Thanks for the help, a hug.
