Hum in the Tweedle Deluxe

Post by Oddvar R »

Hi. Just wondering if anyone had an obvious answer to why the Tweedle Duluxe has a low hum sound that is being introduced as the volume knobs are turned up, same on all pots, even when the jack lead isn't inserted? When volume is down it's silent?

Do you mean especially by comparison with another amp?

That seems to be a vast subject. Of course, you know that any noise is subject to be amplified as well as the sound of the guitar... :?

I had a hum in my TD.
Changing a ground point made a huge difference.
Use the grounding scheme on the layout.
It works.

I did that, changed the noise to close to zero. Thanks.
