I have found that even after changing some values in the preamp section that most of my trouble is with the OD channel.
It just seems to get real bassy when the volume is up to where it is pretty darn loud.
The clean channel is fine.
Maybe it's the nature of the beast, I don't know.
I tend to like the tone when the PAB is on but even that seems to get pretty bassy when the overall volume is loud.
A lot of values get tossed around here and I guess your own ears have got to be the judge.
I just wish I understood better what this value and that value will do to the tone.

In my opinion, a great improvement...sounds very very nice now, after a bit of tweaking...

Yea, I like that a lot. Very dynamic, nice and smooth, nice chirp on the attack. Nice playing too.massygt6 wrote:Two more clips...lowered the preamp gain, input volume 1/2, treble 12 o'clock, mid 11 o'clock, bass 13 o'clock, level 14 o'clock, ratio 3/4, master 11 o'clock...internal gain trimmer set at 11 o' clock...removed the master volume bright cap, input gain trimmer resistor now is 220k, v2b bypass cap is now 5uF, rock on, pab on only on the first a
